Online & Video Classes - Coming Soon!

Ealing Choi Kwang-Do is currently closed until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak.

One month ago, if someone had suggested to me that we could offer classes remotely online, I admit I would have had some doubts...but that was one month ago...

Different situations require different solutions, and while I acknowledge that change can be unsettling, if there is something that humans are generally good at doing, it's adapting.

So you'll be pleased to learn that we will soon have online classes up and running. Full details - once finalised - will be sent out by email. So watch this space, and in the meantime, stay safe.

Ealing CKD Summer Schedule 2019

Summer is here which means a small amendment to our class schedule as we merge the 6.00pm and 7.00pm children's classes. This year the children's class will take place at 6.30pm. Full details and dates below:

6.30pm – 7.20pm Children’s Class
7.30pm – 8.45pm Teens & Adults

Monday 29th & Wednesday 31st July
Monday 5th & Wednesday 7th August
Monday 12th & Wednesday 14th August

After the class on Wednesday 14th August we have our summer break and return on Monday 2nd September.

Ealing CKD Summer Schedule 2018

Classes are on but we wanted to advise of an amendment to our schedule: as usual at this time of the year, the children's classes are merged to 7.00pm only, so there will not be a 6.00pm class. This will commence from Wednesday 1st August and effective on the following dates:

7.00pm – 7.50pm Children’s Class (no 6.00pm class)
8.00pm – 9.15pm Teens & Adults

Wednesday 1st August
Monday 6th & Wednesday 8th August
Monday 13th & Wednesday 15th August

We then break for summer resuming on Monday 3rd September at the regular times of 6.00pm, 7.00pm and 8.00pm.

November 2017 Class Update

We're currently preparing a number of students for 1st and 2nd Degree Black Belt Gradings in December. Pre testing assessments have been mostly completed and to further assist these students we will be holding a series of additional preparation sessions on selected Wednesday's during November.

On Wednesday 1st, 8th 15th and 29th November class times will be amended slightly as follows:

6.00pm - 6.45pm: Children Class 1
6.45pm - 7.30pm: Children Class 2
7.30pm - 8.15pm: Brown and Black Belts (all ages)
8.15pm - 9.15pm: Teens & Adults

Please make a note of these class dates and times.

Brown & Black Belts should aim to attend all 4 preparation sessions as each one will focus on different syllabus components. Classes on Mondays will continue to take place at the usual times of 6.00pm, 7.00pm and 8.00pm - the changes above are for Wednesday classes only.

A Happy Easter to all of our students.

A reminder that there will be no classes at Ealing CKD on Monday 17th April which is the bank holiday. Classes resume on Wednesday 19th April.

The month of August means some minor amendments to our class schedule as we merge the 6.00pm and 7.00pm classes due to many students being away on holiday.

Leadership & Black Belt Training (incorporating the tag grading) in December has been rescheduled to Friday 27th November.

The Black Belt Grading has been rescheduled to Sunday 29th November.

Reminders will be sent closer to the time.

Summer is here which also means a some adjustments to our regular class schedule. From Monday 3rd August until Wednesday 19th August classes continue but the children's classes will be merged due to the lower attendance levels.

Class times:

7.00pm – 7.50pm Children’s Class (the 6.00 and 7.00pm classes will be merged as attendance is typically lower at this time of the year)
8.00pm – 9.00pm Teens & Adults

The dates for these classes will be:

Monday 3rd Wednesday 5th August 
Monday 10th & Wednesday 12th August
Monday 17th & Wednesday 19th August

Classes then close for the summer holidays, resuming on Monday 7th September at the regular times of 6.00, 7.00 and 8.00pm.

No Classes on Bank Holiday Monday 4th & 25th May 2015

A reminder that there will not be a class on the bank holiday Monday 4th May. Classes continue as normal on Wednesday 6th. The same applies for the second bank holiday later this month - no class on Monday 25th May.

For those that train only on Monday's only please remember that you can attend both classes the preceding or following weeks, if possible.
