Class Update: Hendon CKD - 27/10/2009 & 29/10/2009

As announced in the Choi Kwang-Do class last Thursday, Hendon School have cancelled all lettings during the October Half Term, so unfortunately no martial arts classes this week. The following dates are affected:

Tuesday 27th October
Thursday 29th October

The next class will be on Tuesday 3rd November at Hendon School. The belt presentation and results from the October Grading will also be announced on this date.

Class Update: Hendon CKD - 01/10/2009

Advance notice that the Choi Kwang-Do martial arts class at Hendon on Thursday 1st October will be held in the Sports Hall, the same location when the class was held last week Thursday.

If you've not trained there before, the Sports Hall is the large building to the right hand side of the Dining Hall next to the tennis courts. Parking is available in the usual places.

Just a reminder that all classes now return to the usual schedule of days, times and locations commencing this week (although classes actually resume last week).

Ealing Choi Kwang-Do: Ellen Wilkinson School, Monday & Wednesday, 7.15 - 8.30pm

Hendon Choi Kwang-Do: Hendon School, Tuesday & Thursday, Children 6.00 - 7.00pm, Teens & Adults 7.15 - 8.30pm

Class Update: Hendon 02/09/2009 & 03/09/2009

Choi Kwang-Do classes at Hendon will continue this week at Bell Lane on the following days and times:

Wednesday 2nd September
Thursday 3rd September

The times on both dates will be:
Children 6.30 - 7.30pm
Teens & Adults 7.30 - 8.30pm

NB. This supersedes the information previously distributed in July re: the summer schedule.

The Coloured Belt Grading will also take place in the class on Thursday 3rd September for those that are due.

Classes will return to Hendon School on Tuesdays and Thursday starting from Tuesday 8th September at the regular times:

Children 6.00 - 7.00pm
Teens & Adults 7.15 - 8.30pm

Hendon & Ealing CKD Summer Schedule 2009

Our summer schedule of classes have now been confirmed. As usual there are some changes - the locations of both Choi Kwang-Do classes will change for the next several weeks, while the 2 week summer break in classes will take place on different dates for each location.

The result is that this year, classes will be available throughout the entire summer between the Hendon & Ealing Choi Kwang-Do Schools.

Class Update: Hendon CKD - 26/05/2009 & 28/05/2009

Hendon School have cancelled all bookings during the half term break and Bell Lane School is unavailable. This means that there will be no Choi Kwang-Do classes at Hendon this week:

Tuesday 26th May
Thursday 28th May

The next class at Hendon will be Tuesday 2nd June. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Due to the late notice of these cancellations exisiting Hendon CKD students will receive a discount of £10.00 off their next Coloured Belt or Black Belt Tag grading.

Class Update: Hendon CKD - 19/05/2009

Due to an event at Hendon School on Tuesday 19th May, the Dining Hall will be in use until 7.00pm. This means that there will be no Children's Class at 6.00pm.

The class at 7.15pm will still take place but as a mixed class (children and adults). Students who normally attend the children's class are welcome to attend this class instead. The class will finish at 8.30pm.

The classes on Thursday 21st May will take place as normal:

Children 6.00 - 7.00pm
Teens & Adults 7.15 - 8.30pm

I have recently been informed that due to the unavailability of caretaking services, we are unable to use Hendon School for our Choi Kwang-Do classes this week. Therefore, there will be no classes on:

Tuesday 7th April
Thursday 9th Apil

The next class will be on Tuesday 14th April at Hendon School.

As advised in a previous post, there are a number of dates in the coming months when classes at Hendon CKD will take place at Bell Lane. This is due to school events at Hendon School. The dates that are currently confirmed are as follows:

Class Update: Hendon & Ealing CKD - 02/02/2009

Due to the severe weather conditions both Ellen Wilkinson School and Hendon School will be closed on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd February. This means that there will be no Choi Kwang Do classes on these dates.

Both schools are expected to reopen on Wednesday 4th February. Should there be any change I will make another posting so please check back on Wednesday afternoon.

Lastly, please note that the class on Tuesday 16th December has had to be cancelled. The last class for 2008 will be on Thursday 18th December.

Class Update: Hendon CKD - 28th and 30th October 2008

I have been informed that we are unable to hold our classes at Hendon School this week as the Dining Hall is being cleaned over the Half Term break. Therefore, our next class will be on Tuesday 4th November.

The Belt Presentation following the October grading will also take place on this date.

Due to the number of classes we have had to cancel at Hendon in recent months, I am offering one free grading to all students of Hendon CKD. Vouchers for a free grading will be issued in the next class. NB. This is for students who have already enrolled.
